The Deerhawk Oracle is now a reality!

If you have enjoyed using the virtual version of the Deerhawk Oracle, I’m happy to share that I’ve created a deck for offline use! This new deck has 30 cards (including one instruction card) and is full of Deerhawk designs and messages.

New offering: Polyvagal Therapy

I'm thrilled to announce that I'm now certified for Polyvagal Therapy and adding it to my offerings! Using guided meditation and gentle touch, this work helps to settle the nervous system and release any trauma still held in the body. After an intensive training with Janet Evergreen at RiverBluff Sanctuary this past weekend, I'm excited to share it with you.

The vagus nerve is an essential element in the fight/flight/freeze response, and learning how to regulate our responses to fear or anxiety can make a tremendous difference in our quality of life.

Weekly Meditation and Restorative Yoga Classes

In addition to one-on-one coaching and mindfulness support, I offer weekly meditation classes at a studio in Ivy, Virginia called A Place to Breathe

Meditation for Self-Exploration (4:30-5:30pm)

In this hour-long class, we'll experiment with several different meditation techniques each week, so that you can get some peace while also learning more about your system and what works best for you. Meditation isn't just about sitting and watching your breath! Come join me for walking meditation, guided meditations, and a number of other mindfulness techniques guaranteed to tap into your deepest intuition.

Restorative Yoga (6:00 - 7:15pm)

I approach restorative yoga as an active meditation. Not all yoga poses have to be acrobatic or challenging to have measurable effects on your body and mind. Whether you are a beginner to yoga, or are looking for a practice to balance your more active hatha or ashtanga postures, this class is right for everyone. Restorative yoga: it's yoga for your nervous system!
