While traveling through Australia, one of my favorite species to encounter was the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. The females are spangled with white spots, while the males have a bombastic crest that rises and falls as they scramble through tree branches. This print depicts a pair I was able to observe in Darwin, NT, as I explored the area around Lee Point.
