One of my favorite things about living in the mountains of Virginia is the way the winter trees look like cathedrals in the twilight. This drawing was inspired by a drive home from a friend’s house at the perfect moment, just after sunset, when the sky was a peachy-yellow, the the silhouette of the trees ahead of me were perfectly symmetrical.
