Olaf (Southern Cassowary)

Disaffected by his experiences Europe's Great War (World War I), Olaf returned to his ancestral home in Australia, hoping to change his life for the better. When he arrived, he found that acres and acres of what would have been his homeland had already been parceled out to farmers for wheat crops. News trickled in of brutal attacks on local Emus, all of whom had tended their land for centuries. He was incensed.

Swearing to put an end to humankind's needless violence, Olaf took up arms once more and led a great victory in the Great Emu War of 1932. He was a man of principle who yearned for peace, but he lived the life of a warrior.
